How do i sign up to attend the heist awards 2020?

i've signed up, now what?

You will receive a confirmation email once you’ve signed up. The email will come from the event platform we’re using called ‘Forumm’. A few days before the event is due to take place you will also receive a reminder email with a unique link that you can click on awards day that will take you to our live streaming platform page. ​

do i need to download anything to watch the awards?

The live event will take place fully online using your web browser. We recommend using Google Chrome as a browser. ​

will people be able to see and hear me?

Your privacy is important to us, no one will be able to see or hear you during the online event. There is a chat function that you can type comments throughout the awards and conference if you want. 
 
​Please note that if you choose to join one of the ‘break-out’ rooms mentioned in the point below, you will be participating in a video chat with the others who have selected this option.   ​

what if i want to watch with my friends?

We’ll be providing optional video ‘break-out’ rooms that are really simple to use. If you want to watch with an online group, these breakout rooms open a Zoom video chat so you’re able to chat with your friends as you watch the awards. The links to these rooms will be provided within our streaming platform. ​

is there a limit on registrations per organisation?

The system will allow you to register 10 people at a time. As many people from your institution can do this, so if for example 20 of you want to register, you would just need one person to register for 10 of you and then another person to register for the remaining 10. Alternatively, you can all register individually.
